I am extremely happy to hear that Mr. Liu Xiabo won the Nobel Peace prize. This is a huge victory for Huma Rights activists everywhere.
Now, I join the international community in calling for the immediate release of Mr. Liu Xiabo from captivity and end the house arrest of his wife. I am forwarding you the statement of His Holiness the Dalai Lama below,
